Warranty coverage follows the manufacturer's warranty terms. Coverage and service options depend on the delivery method and our service area. Normal wear and tear, improper use, abuse, neglect, and customer-caused damage (including damage to personal property) are not covered.
Delivered & Set Up by Home Living Furniture: We will help coordinate manufacturer warranty service and replacement parts, subject to the manufacturer's availability and terms, within our service area. Service/labor charges may apply when not covered by the manufacturer.
Pick-Up or Customer Assembly: Warranty support is limited to replacement parts when available. The customer is responsible for transportation, assembly-related issues, and any labor/service charges.
Manufacturer warranty support is available only within the areas we service and is tied to the original delivery location. If the product is moved to a different location, warranty service may be limited or unavailable. Please refer to the bottom of the website or ask a store representative for our current service area.
We offer:
Storage Fees: A storage fee of $50 per piece, per month, will be assessed for any items held in our warehouse for more than 30 days at the customer's request. Rejected deliveries for reasons other than visible damage are considered to be non-defective returns. Shipping charges (both to you and back to us) will be deducted from your refund for orders that are canceled after shipping out to you. Please handle product packaging with care, as there may be a 30% restocking fee charged to you if the packaging or the item does not return to us comparable to the condition in which it was shipped out. Refunds on non-defective items will equal the purchase price minus a 30% restocking fee, minus the shipping charges that we paid for delivery to you and back to us. These "real" shipping costs are deducted from refunds for non-defective returns. Any order that is changed or canceled while "In Process" is considered to be a non-defective return even if the item is still in transit to you. Once the merchandise has been received in good condition, we are not able to accept returns.
Due to the nature of fabric and wood, they may be cut at a random match. There is a possibility that patterns may not exactly line up at seamed areas. Home Living Furniture is not responsible for variances in shade or textures due to customer screen settings and/or expectations. Finish categories are provided as a general means to assist in narrowing down product choices. Home Living Furniture does not, nor its vendors, guarantee exact finish on any product. If an exact finish is required, please send an email to Sales to request a wood sample, if one is available, before making a purchase. Additionally, all manufacturer measurements are approximate. Home Living Furniture is not liable for variances in construction.
Your furniture is fully insured during transit. To protect your purchase and your home:
* Mandatory Inspection: You must inspect all items at the time of delivery. If you see physical damage to the carton or the furniture, you must note "Product Damaged" on the delivery receipt/Bill of Lading before the driver leaves. Should there be any visible issues, you must call immediately so that we can offer the best solution to the issue. Often times for finish or minor issues, we are able to send factory trained furniture repair technicians to restore to factory fresh conditions. Other times, we are able to resolve the issue by sending out replacement parts and then a technician to replace the parts, like handles / drawers, etc. For issues more complex, we would have the drivers return the damaged item back to the warehouse and reship a replacement as soon as possible
* 48-Hour Reporting: Concealed damage discovered after the delivery team has left must be reported to 8002754647 within 48 hours. We cannot honor damage claims reported after this window.
* Refused Deliveries: If a delivery is refused for any reason other than documented shipping damage, the customer is responsible for the $2.25 per lb shipping fee and a 20% restocking fee.
* Home Protection: Please ensure your floors and walls are protected (rugs, cardboard, etc.) prior to arrival. Home Living Furniture and its carriers are not liable for damage to personal property (floors, walls, or ceilings) if the delivery path is not cleared and protected by the homeowner.
Product Fit & Specifications
* Measure Before You Buy: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that furniture will fit through doorways, hallways, and into the intended room. Items returned because they do not fit are subject to the standard 20% restocking fee and $2.25 per pound shipping fee.
* Natural Variations: Due to the nature of wood grain, leather, and stone, no two pieces are identical. Variations in shade, texture, or "distressed" markings are natural characteristics and are not considered defects.
* Screen Colors: Actual colors may vary slightly from website images due to monitor resolution and studio lighting.
