Hammary Furniture was established in 1943 by Hamilton Louden Bruce, who started the company by manufacturing canvas lawn chairs with a couple of helpers in a $15 per month building. Bruce moved on to produce Honduras mahogany occasional tables with leather tops. Today the company distributes a wide range of quality furniture products throughout the United States and Canada as well as other countries. Table manufacturing remains a strong focus at Hammary, and consumers can choose from a wide variety of table groupings of cocktail tables, end tables and sofa tables with glass and wood tops. The tables are manufactured in a range of wood products in addition to fabricated materials including wrought iron, cast iron and cast aluminum in rectangular, square, round and oval shapes. Furniture items are also produced with marble tops. In addition to tables, Hammary offers occasional pieces, home office furniture and home entertainment options. Hammary Furniture also provides entertainment center options that may be custom configured to fit the requirements of the room and the desires of the customer.
