Edges of lateral rails are pulled outward and protrude past the face of the case. These are then shaped with cove and ovalo detailing with a look that is softened and builds into a layered look. Case fronts are shaped with a gentle serpentine movement. An artful use of moldings and overlays add a rich and dramatic feel to the pieces within the collection.

Carved molding with interlacing patterns, serpentine shapes and the dramatic interplay of mixed veneers provide a rich, sculptural quality. The ensemble is crafted from radiata solids, sliced hickory and maple burl veneers to form a sturdy structure. The entire setup is also finished in a medium brown with hand applied burnishing. The traditional elements and designs have been update with the modern comforts of the dust proof drawers system, English dovetail joints and corner block junctions to provide added strength and keep the drawers square.
