Classic doesn't need to mean gaudy or old-fashioned. Simply put, classics are pieces that have staying power, pieces you will never tire of. The Camden Bay bedroom always looks sophisticated, with its traditionally-inspired cases, carved from cherry wood in a handsome, dark wood finish. Enhancing the classic style are turned wood legs, crown moulding, and wood-framed glass panels. Fantastic functionality adds to the elegant style of this group. Dovetailed drawers with ball-bearing drawer guides provide easy use, enhanced with touch lighting in the bedside nightstand, and a TV console with wire management and optional, electric fireplace insert. Start off by choosing either the arched shutter bed or panel bed with low footboard, and complete your Camden Bay bedroom with a selection of handy storage pieces to fit your space. Camden Bay, time-tested style and function for the modern home.
Since 1931, the Magnussen Home family has been committed to blending the fine qualities that they value in life into the fine furniture that they offer our customers. Integrity. Ingenuity. Style. Dedication. The people at Magnussen Home take pride in their company and in the furniture they produce.
Ingwer Magnussen founded the company in 1931, in the town of Kitchener, Ontario. A cabinetmaker by trade and a craftsman and businessman at heart, Ingwer took the bold step of starting his own company when he was unable to find work during the Great Depression. Serving Canadian upholstery manufacturers, he created beautiful, intricately carved show wood for sofa frames, earning a reputation that allowed his young business to grow into a good-sized company. Over the years, Magnussen Home has continued to grow, expanding to become a global enterprise. Yet, they have maintained the core principles of a family-run business - trust, honesty and respect - as the foundation of success of Magnussen Home.
