Edges of lateral rails are pulled outward and protrude past the face of the case. These are then shaped with cove and ovalo detailing with a look that is softened and builds into a layered look. Case fronts are shaped with a gentle serpentine movement. An artful use of moldings and overlays add a rich and dramatic feel to the pieces within the collection.
Drawing inspiration from classic European forms, the Traditions collection brings a fresh approach with a design that is refined , yet casual. Carved molding with interlacing patterns, serpentine shapes and the dramatic interplay of mixed veneers provide a rich, sculptural quality. A combination of metal, stone and custom hardware reinforces the casual elegance of the collection. The traditional elements and designs have been update with the modern comforts of the dust proof drawers system, English dovetail joints and corner block junctions to provide added strength and keep the drawers square.
